Restorative/Yin Yoga: The Power of REST

This class emphasizes the importance for our bodies to slow down, restore and rest. We will hold seated and reclined yoga postures, with the assistance of props, for longer periods of time. As we allow our bodies to release and relax with support we are able to soften muscular and facial tension, improve our flexibility and increase our joint mobility. Soft music and minimal verbal instruction creates the perfect condition for your mind to gently mind wander;  the gateway into creative thinking, insight and reflection. 

This class is a great companion to our Movement classes!
